Joe Wilson Praises Bush's Iraq Move
Uh, this has got to be in the "Scratch your head, I just don't get it" category. For a man who worked tirelessly to prove the president's infamous "sixteen words" in this state of the union address were pure lies, this one's got me.
Before I get too enthused, I'll be looking for an angle. Wierd. Is he running for office? Got me.
If any of you find the transcript, let me know. I'm too jammed for time to do the leg work.

Totally off topic here. I just wanted to thank you for your intelligent, well thought out, courteous comments on my blog. I truly enjoy watching that sort of discussion unfold. I hope you will return often, I'm sure there are many topics where we do not see eye to eye but I would truly value your input. Perhaps through civil discussion we can continue to find understanding. Thank you for your comments. Dialogue creates synergy when we take time to listen and not read into each others words meaning that isn't there.
I am certain that we will disagree on things, but, hey, my dog and I disagree. She wants to eat all the time and I keep saying no!
The human family needs each other, but if some don't come through, well, we do the best we can. I look forward to dropping by peridically after the big paper push.

Nice of Godlessmom to pop her head in here and say that. I was impressed with the dialogue, just wished I had more time and energy to devote to it all.
As for Joe, he probably genuinely means it. He may not be completely opposed to everything Bush does. After all, we all can disagree on some points and agree on others.
There's a Republican Joe Wilson in the House. Could this be the Joe Wilson they're talking about in this news item?

That would be a major faux pax with newsmax if he's the "Joe Wilson" they were talking about. I emailed Mark Simone from WABC to see which Joe it was, and if they have a transcript of the program. I tried searching but no luck. If you find any more, let me know. It just sounds too wierd for him to make such a 180 turn.
