Again, Knowledge is Not-Forgetting

U.S. Moves 500 Tons of Uranium in Iraq

Now that Joe Wilson has become the darling at Washington D.C. cocktail parties again, reported facts about Iraq's nuclear program seem to be forgotten. Such as the May 22, 2004 article in the NYTimes, a bastion of journalistic integrity for all liberals. Read it and judge for yourself; ask yourself where did Saddam get all this yellow cake? Hmmmm, Mr. Wilson? 1998? 1999?

the article states the uranium was sealed in 1991, therefore, i don't think saddam got it from nigeria in the late 1990s. anyway, the british intelligence services have already determined the initial lead document (from the italian intelligence services) was forged. apparently, the nigerian official whose signature is on the document was not in office when it was supposed to have been signed.

you are the only one i've read that's defending the nigeria yellow-cake story, underground.

anyway, even if wilson is dishonest and has ulterior motives, that doesn't excuse the purposeful leaking of his wife's identity to the press. you should be encouraging a full investigation and explanation, as should we all.

I think it's very interesting that Wilson went about Washington DC, introducing his wife as The Spy at cocktail parties, and now expresses shock that anyone ELSE would say it.

TS, great new pic, BTW. I've been meaning to tell you. What a cutie pie!

thanks, saur. my daughter's really so much fun right now while she's "talking" but non-mobile--she can't crawl yet. i've heard they get more troublesome when they can move.

about wilson ... i'm not defending him, i'm just pointing out that rove and his ilk DO play mean politics. and i hate mean politics.
