A Trip to the Woodshed for Repubs

A great wake up call for Conservatives by Anne Coulter:

Conservatives Need 12-Step Program for Manhood

Liberals, don't read this at home. You won't be able to handle it. Conservatives sometimes need a kick in the slats. I don't know why they resort to this naive optimism that if they just be nice, everyone will like them and they'll be able to govern so much better. Repubs, WAKE UP!!
We got border problems, we got Chi-com problems, we got weak immigration policies, WE DON'T EVEN ENFORCE THE IMMIGRATION LAWS WE ALREADY HAVE!!

I'm not a happy camper with my party. The Repubs are getting stuck on stupid!!

Ann Coulter: "Coming right on the heels of a three-year witch-hunt directed at Rush Limbaugh for an addiction to prescription drugs (because of his politics)..." —

No, Ann, no. Rush was roundly criticized because he consistently and publicly stated that all drug abusers (he didn't qualify them and exempt people addicted to pain killers) ALL DRUG ABUSERS as far as he was concerned deserved to be thrown in jail. Period.

That's why the hypocrite was reviled. He, like Patrick Kennedy, was accorded special treatment. Okay? He's a hypocrite. There is nothing on the record, as far as I can determine, where Patrick Kennedy said all alcoholics and prescription drug addicts should be thrown in jail.

Kennedy is a troubled man, to be sure, but as far as I can determine, he's no hypocrite.

And speaking of hypocrites, Ms. Coulter is under investigation in Flordia for voter fraud (a felony) which could possibly get her a jail sentence.

Another Republican blowhard hypocrite.

That's if the allegation against Coulter is true, which obviously, due to your charge of hypocrisy, you must hold. Typical. Like ALL of the Bush "scandals," they are allegations, which to Democrats means he is guilty and a liar. Publicize it enough, repeat it over and over again with shrill I might add, and it becomes the "truth." Way to scoop the story, Shaw. Your efforts are as good as any mediocre liberal journalist.

By the way, you must have missed the huge mea culpa Rush had when he admitted himself into treatment. Apparently that doesn't count to Democrats. That was like two years ago. Really huge. Funny you missed it.

I'm still waiting for Ted Kennedy's mea culpa. I'm not holding my breath, though.

Now as to the point of the post...anyone?

They'll have some terrific stories about their Gandhi-like passivity to share while sitting in cells at Guantanamo after Hillary is elected.

Ouch.

True 'dat.
I think Ann is really trying to shake some sense into the Republican Party. If the Dems are guilty of "trying to please everyone to the point of being spineless" then the Republicans are guilty of being doormats.

Yes. I get soooo frustrated in their niceness. They don't have political savvy.
