Bad News for Al Gore and the Enviro-mental cases

Get a grip, my friends. We are not going to have the record hurricane season as we did last year. Just read this ABC newsbrief, but try not to cry. It's hard...I'm devastated myself. Apparently, too many hybrids were purchased by rich Americans...

Global warming is a fact.

Stop being in denial and make an effort to safeguard our planet rather than selfish acts of self-indulgence.

Let me suggest something to you. If you put it into practice, you'll thank me against your will someday: don't assume you know me. Do you always walk into a room with your mouth half-cocked? Try starting a dialogue instead of your impudent opprobrium. (do you realize how much easier your life will become?)

The Earth is warming up, and it is causing major problems. The main cause is the sun itself. The sun's energy has increased which is warming not only Earth, but Mars as well. It's a cosmic problem more than anything and it provides us a challenge far greater than we puny human beings can effect.

Now if you want to focus on what you identify as our self-indulgent lifestyles, there are many good reasons to do that and discuss it in a sane manner. You probably have good ideas that are worth considering, if you're willing to dialogue. Discussing cultural issues in the "Global Warming" context is a ruse given to us by those who are social engineers rather than scientists.

Okay. Now it's your turn. You can now respond about what I said, whether you agree or disagree and I will listen. If you need me to clarify, I will do so and vice versa.

We need to cut down the emission of green house gases so that we humans do not hasten the sun's warming of our planet. That is something we can do.

We need to have a Manhattan project that addresses this and energy independence. Clean and renewable fuel is the answer.

Seems pretty clear to me.

We may not be able to stop the sun in heating up the earth, but we can sure stop pumping pollutants into the air.

Yes. Let's stop polluting. Alter our materialistic lifestyles so that we don't use our incomes to stuff our landfills with junk we thought we so desparately needed from Walmart. I'm with you.

I don't shop at Walmart and living in a rural area that is saying something.
